This exhibition proposal is for work arising from my project Knee Play 1 which I have been working over the last two years. The project is a
response to the solfege Knee Play 1 song from the opera Einstein on the Beach. The song is about consumerism and the erosion of the dignity of
workers. I use language, text, construction, signs, calculations, formulae, memories, and random thoughts to interpret the ideas within the song. It
is a visualisation of the song.

Most of my work is made up of drawings on paper. I also do short looped videos. To date I have had two solo displays from this body of work.
Firstly, I displayed a 10 x 1.5 metre ink drawing on paper. Secondly, I exhibited a site specific installation which included several drawings, and
videos. Wherever possible I prefer to tailor my display in response to the exhibition venue.
